Approved in September 2022, the Broadway Plan is part of an ambitious 30-year process providing opportunities to integrate new housing, jobs, and amenities around the new Broadway Subway throughout parts of Kitsilano, Fairview, and Mount Pleasant.
The plan covers a large area from Vine & 1st Ave to Clark Drive & 16th Ave.

Multiplex Policy
Under the new Vancouver Plan recently approved on July 22, 2022, Multiplexes are being established to enable smaller scale Missing Middle housing across the city.
Multiplexes offer a new type of ground-oriented housing up to 3 storeys and includes up to 6 stratified units or 8 rental units on a single lot.
